On social media, I am known as YallaRoza. I am a queer Muslim(ish) Iranian woman who dreams of collective liberation. My art is in service of that dream. I combine illustration with writing to tell stories of: oppression and resistance; trauma and healing; grief, joy, rage, hope and everything in-between.

Over the past five years, I've worked on a diversity of wonderful projects, including art for: commercial products; children’s books; parade contingents; social media graphics; campus campaigns; clothing and other forms of swag.

Past creative clients have included: Mailchimp, Mastercard, Wilfrid Laurier University, Orca Publishing, Toronto Maple Leafs, Toronto FC, Collective Arts, The 519 Community Centre, Instagram, Sephora, Pride Toronto, Michaels, Warner Music International, I Weigh Community, and Quarto Publishing.

Most recently, I was on the design team for Canada’s first WNBA team, Toronto Tempo.
